Malaysiakini: Boycotting US products a really dumb move for Malaysia

I will not get into a debate on whether Israel is right to invade Gaza or whether Hamas is the cause of all this mess. But we all agree that innocent Palestinians are the real victims of war. While everyone has their own views on the Israel-Palestinian conflict, I will not be tempted to to comment on this sensitive issue. But what has come to my attention is the suggestion by certain parties to boycott U.S. product - a move which I think is somewhat naive in many aspects.
